Kyle Sandilands teamed up with his girlfriend Tegan Kynaston's family to create a new premium wine, Nueva Sangria, last year.
And it seems the king of radio also has a knack for the booze business, with the beverage winning the Local Luvva campaign held by alcohol chain BWS.
They beat out 300 other local producers in the competition, in which fans vote for their favourite local alcohol products.
The winner is given shelf space, promotion and supplied to local stores with the help of the BWS marketing team.
Kyle told Adelaide Now after the win: 'I'm not much of a drinker, but I really do love this sangria.
'Typically, we have it when we have barbecues with friends. It's a great refreshing drink in the afternoon and it can easily be matched with any food'.
Tegan chimed in: 'This is a great opportunity for us to take Nueva Sangria to a new level and give more people the opportunity to enjoy it. Our little surprise hit is all grown up and ready for the BWS shelves.'
In an advertisement for the label earlier this year, the 48-year-old shock jock explained he's 'come up with a new Aussie twist on a Spanish classic'.
'Welcome everyone to my newest project, this is Nueva Sangria,' he said.
'I've teamed up with winemakers Dave Kynaston, Sam Bowman and Tegan Kynaston to come up with a new Aussie twist on a Spanish classic,' he continued.
Tegan and her brother Dave then appeared in the ad, which was filmed on their winery in Murray Darling, NSW.
Kyle continued: 'Nueva Sangria is the end result of daring to ask the question "Why can't we make our sangria right here on Australian soil?"'
The new business venture comes after Kyle launched H2Coco in 2014, a brand of natural flavoured coconut water sold in major retailers like Coles and Woolworths.
